Job Description

The LMS Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and data integrity of the organization's LMS (Valamis). This role ensures a seamless learning experience by maintaining accurate training records, supporting program execution, and identifying system improvements in collaboration with L&D Operations and Instructional Design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer LMS users, roles, permissions, and course configurations
  • Manage enrollments and track completions across online and instructor-led programs
  • Maintain accurate training records and perform routine data audits
  • Support reporting by validating LMS data and assisting with analysis
  • Troubleshoot system, access, and enrollment issues; escalate when needed
  • Contribute to process documentation and ensure consistent workflows
  • Partner with Instructional Design and L&D teams to support program delivery

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of LMS administration experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Experience with SCORM and/or xAPI content
  • Familiarity with virtual, in-person, and blended learning environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (especially Excel)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with Valamis or a similar LMS
  • Background in learning operations or enablement
  • Exposure to LMS reporting or compliance tracking
