The LMS Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and data integrity of the organization's LMS (Valamis). This role ensures a seamless learning experience by maintaining accurate training records, supporting program execution, and identifying system improvements in collaboration with L&D Operations and Instructional Design.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer LMS users, roles, permissions, and course configurations
- Manage enrollments and track completions across online and instructor-led programs
- Maintain accurate training records and perform routine data audits
- Support reporting by validating LMS data and assisting with analysis
- Troubleshoot system, access, and enrollment issues; escalate when needed
- Contribute to process documentation and ensure consistent workflows
- Partner with Instructional Design and L&D teams to support program delivery
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of LMS administration experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Experience with SCORM and/or xAPI content
- Familiarity with virtual, in-person, and blended learning environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (especially Excel)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience with Valamis or a similar LMS
- Background in learning operations or enablement
- Exposure to LMS reporting or compliance tracking
