Job Description

This position is primarily responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating Unibank training/mentoring programs with the end view of servicing the training needs of employees based on corporate objectives and specified training directions.

Responsibilities

  • Determines training needs of target employees to serve as basis in recommending the thrust of training programs each year.
  • Manages the training programs to ensure that training objectives are met.
  • Conducts behavioral, supervisory and leadership courses.
  • Supervises the training cycle through needs analysis, program development, implementation, evaluation, post evaluation and action planning to ensure quality execution.
  • Supervises/monitors the learning progress of trainees of major training programs and updates all concerned.
  • Reviews and negotiates contractual arrangements with suppliers of services, venues, and resource persons to ensure optimum value for the bank.
  • Conducts assigned courses in accordance with the training needs of concerned Groups.
  • Monitors training resources and budget to ensure effective utilization.
  • Regularly reviews existing programs to improve and develop modules that meet business requirements.
  • Prepares Instruction Guide for Trainers for major programs of the Bank.

Qualifications

  • College graduate preferably with a degree in behavioral or social sciences, communication, education, or business related courses.
  • At least 2 years experience in banking and at least 1 year experience as trainer in a Unibank program involving program design
