The Learning Design Program Specialist will provide support in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of a wide range of learning experiences tailored to the needs of educators, including both in-person and digital formats such as workshops, webinars, courses, and community programs. He/She will work closely with team members, subject matter experts, educators, instructional designers, and key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, engaging, and impactful learning experiences aligned with educators professional development needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learning Design Support:
- Assist in the development, coordination, and enhancement of various learning experiences (online, in-person, hybrid, and microlearning).
- Work with internal and external stakeholders, including government and nonprofit organizations, universities, school districts, subject matter experts, and community members, to support the identification of educator needs and learning objectives.
- Provide logistical and administrative support throughout the program lifecycle, from concept to implementation.
- Support the application of instructional design models and learning science principles to create engaging, data-driven learning experiences.
- Support multimedia integration (videos, infographics, etc.) to enhance engagement, retention, and knowledge sharing.
- Collect and organize data, insights, and feedback for program evaluation and continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about trends in educational technology and pedagogy, sharing insights with the team.
People Coordination and Support:
- Assist in aligning programs and strategies with team members.
- Support program staff, freelancers, and graphic designers in program execution.
- Help track manpower planning, performance, and team development efforts.
- Contribute to fostering a positive internal culture aligned with GBF's values.
Operations and Program Support:
- Support the seamless execution of programs.
- Assist in implementing efficient processes for time, resources, and budget tracking.
- Help utilize systems and processes to ensure effective program delivery.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support program goals.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
The right candidate is passionate about education and learning. S/he has experience supporting various aspects of learning design and program implementation. S/he is agile, resourceful, detail-oriented, and proactive in a dynamic environment, contributing effectively to program execution and continuous improvement.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in learning program design, implementation, and evaluation.
- Proven track record of achievements in previous roles.
- Knowledge of instructional design models, adult learning theory, and data-driven evaluation.
- Experience collaborating with teams in a learning development context.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Advanced MS Excel skills (Charts, Formulas, Pivot Tables) for reporting and analysis.
- Familiarity with data management tools and systems is a plus.
