The Role
You will design, deliver, and continuously improve comprehensive training programs for team members and ensure engaging and informative training sessions for employees.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Development
- Research and stay updated on the latest learning and development best practices.
- Design and develop comprehensive instructional materials, including presentations, handouts, and learning activities tailored to the needs and demographics of the target audience.
- Formulate strategies and guidelines for impactful communication, enabling team members to drive meaningful conversations while delivering true value to our customers and stakeholders.
2. Training Delivery
- Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for employees.
- Utilize various teaching methods, such as lectures, workshops, demonstrations, recorded training, and role-playing exercises, to facilitate learning and skill development.
- Adapt training content and delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
3. Support
- Provide coaching and guidance to employees to equip them with various skills to ensure every interaction with customers is positive, helpful, and reflects the brand's values.
- Ensure that performance and behavioral standards are implemented and consistently being followed.
4. Program Evaluation and Improvement
- Conduct pilot/initial training sessions with a selection of team members to fine-tune the approach and content based on direct feedback.
- Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to implement changes and updates to training content and methodologies based on evaluation findings.
- Identify training needs and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Use AI tools like Claude, Google Gemini and NotebookLM to improve curriculum design and delivery
- Other tasks and activities assigned by the Learning and Development Manager.
5. Expected Deliverables
- A comprehensive suite of training materials aligned with the needs of all our team members.
- Engaging and effective training sessions to introduce and reinforce key concepts and skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Education, or Business Administration (major in Sales and Customer Relationship Management is preferred)
- 1-2 years experience in Training or Learning & Development, using various training delivery methods (in-person and virtual classroom, video-recorded training, etc.)
- Experience working in a cross-cultural or multi-cultural environments
- Familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Litmos, Moodle, or similar platforms)
- Exposure to instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy)
- Experience building or contributing to an L&D content library from the ground up
- Knowledgeable in the use of AI tools like Claude, Google Gemini and NotebookLM for training purposes
- Knowledgeable in the use of Google workspace and tools
- Background in retail, e-commerce, customer service, or wellness/lifestyle industries is preferred, but not required
