Experience
- With at least 2 years experience in Track works.
- Preferably with driving experience (Licensed Professional Driver)
Education
- Vocational/College background
Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directly responsible in leading Trackworkers crew in the regular maintenance of track facilities and other trackwork related activities.
- Coordinates all work activities to the Trackworkers and ensure compliance with all railroad rules and regulation for safety operations.
- Receives order and instructions from Supervisor and disseminate/distributes specific maintenance work to the Trackworkers.
- Record pertinent details regarding the repair and maintenance works and prepare accomplishment and progress reports
- Conduct train ride and patrol and visual inspection in the track facilities and perform minor repairs with trackworker
- Lead, train and instruct Trackworker on how to accomplish the assigned work and ensure accuracy of work, completeness and conformance to safety standards
- Provide instruction and guidance to track technicians in withdrawal of track works spares, consumables, equipment and tools for maintenance use.
- Supervise and lead during sorting of track materials and equipment during loading and unloading works.
- Responsible for all materials, tools and equipment used by the Trackworker crew including the maintenance of track tools and equipment.
- Receive instructions, requests, orders and information's from posted bulletins, memorandums, rules and regulation manuals.
- Communicate clear instructions to trackworker regarding the assigned work location and shift schedule.
- Provide support and assistance to the Supervisor in gathering information and data required for reporting to management.
- Conduct group discussions, safety and toolbox meetings or process reviews.
- Lead daily housekeeping from completed activity and ensure no obstruction from tracks.
- Report accidents and incidents as soon as possible to the Supervisor.
- Observes and enforced all existing company codes and policies, agreements, rules and regulations.
