Job Description

Overall purpose, duties and responsibilities of the role:

The Leader Development Senior Specialist designs and delivers leadership development initiatives that strengthen the capability, performance, and sustainability of agency leaders across all levels. This role focuses on building leaders who can recruit, develop, and drive results in a high-performance, sales-driven environment while upholding the company's values and commitment to serving Filipino families.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Training Design and Delivery

  • Develop and facilitate leadership programs focused on people management, coaching for performance, field leadership, and culture-building.
  • Deliver programs through blended learning formats: classroom training, virtual sessions, field immersions, and peer learning.

2. Agency Leadership Development Strategy

  • Design and implement leadership development programs tailored to the agency career path and the core competencies for each level.
  • Align leadership initiatives with agency growth priorities, productivity goals, and retention strategies.
  • Translate agency performance challenges into targeted leadership capability-building solutions.

3. Coaching & Leader Enablement

  • Build coaching capability among Agency Leaders to improve agent productivity, engagement, and retention.
  • Support the rollout of coaching frameworks, field coaching tools, and leader playbooks.
  • Partner with HO Agency and Sales Management Teams to reinforce learning application in the field.

4. Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as a strategic partner to HO Agency Management Team and District/Branch Managers.
  • Influence without authority and build strong relationships with Agency Leaders.
  • Clearly communicate program intent, expectations, and outcomes to stakeholders.

5. Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Track program effectiveness using program evaluation and performance indicators (e.g. recruitment and productivity metrics).
  • Stay updated on agency leadership trends, sales leadership best practices, and adult learning methodologies.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • University Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business, Education, or any related field.
  • Master's degree or certification in Psychology, Organizational Development, or Business Management is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Leadership Development, Sales Training, or Sales Management in the life insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating leadership programs for Agency Leaders.
  • Strong exposure to working with Agency Sales Leaders in the life insurance industry.
