About The RoleWe are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic
Lead - Transfer Pricing to join our team in Manila, Philippines. Reporting to the Global Transfer Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the global transfer pricing aspects of major tax audits, leading global projects, and ensuring tax governance within Orica. Your main objective will be to ensure compliance with Orica's global policies and procedures, with a specific focus on maintaining transfer pricing policies and related procedures. Building strong working relationships with regional businesses, supply chain, corporate finance, local finance, and treasury teams is an integral part of this role.

What you will be doing- Global compliance to Orica's Tax Standard, Tax Procedures and Tax Guidelines.
- Utilise the company's global SAP platform to maintain transfer pricing-related data and processes. This includes engaging with global and regional finance and supply teams.
- Assist with quarterly (including adhoc) calculation of pricing for intercompany product transaction pairs.
- Assist with identifying transfer pricing risk areas through profitability review.
- Assist with annual compliance requirements including segmentation of statutory results and transfer pricing documentation.
- Provide advice on cross border transactions.
- Assist with the management of transfer pricing tax audits, ensuring resolution of issues.
- Assist with maintaining transfer pricing procedures.
- Keep up to date with legislative changes gloablly. Proactively manage any changes required as a result of legislative changes.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement in the tax compliance and tax reporting functions.
What you will bring- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Law
- Professional designation CPA or ACA or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of SAP is critical.
- Prior experience in transfer pricing, tax compliance, or related areas within a multinational organization is highly desirable.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform complex financial analysis.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with stakeholders at various levels.
- Experience in dealing with tax issues for multiple countries simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- 8 years in a professional accounting/legal environment or transfer pricing
