We are currently seeking a Lead Technical Architect to join our Hospitality Division, playing a key role in the delivery of premium hotel and hospitality projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale developments, contributing to the design and execution of high-end hotels that prioritize guest experience, operational efficiency, and design excellence.
The Lead Technical Architect will be responsible for driving the technical design and delivery of hospitality projects across all stages. The role requires strong expertise in authority submissions, compliance, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality and buildable design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development of hotel and hospitality projects across all design stages
- Manage authority submissions, approvals, and ensure full regulatory compliance
- Review and approve detailed design drawings, ensuring constructability and alignment with design intent
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical and construction-related challenges
- Ensure all technical documentation complies with local authority codes and regulations
- Apply international codes and standards (e.g., IBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, LEED) where required
- Lead design reviews to ensure quality, compliance, and technical excellence
- Mentor and guide technical design teams to achieve project objectives
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and department heads to align with project goals, timelines, and budgets
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience
- Proven experience working on hotel or hospitality projects
- Experience across multiple project stages including design, documentation, and construction support
- Strong proficiency in Revit (BIM) and integrated design workflows
- Solid understanding of local authority regulations and approval processes
- Familiarity with international building codes and standards
- Candidates must be willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE
