Lead Software Engineer - .NET, Azure, React (AI Native)

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end full-stack architectures using .NET, Microsoft Azure, and ReactJS
• Drive technical execution of user stories from estimation to implementation and deployment
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify business objectives and translate them into technical requirements
• Create and maintain technical documentation and design artifacts to guide development
• Coach and guide engineers across the software development lifecycle and support their growth
• Integrate AI-native practices into daily delivery and the broader software development lifecycle
• Deliver agentic solutions using Microsoft AI tools
• Develop and support backend components, including SQL-based data solutions and Microsoft SQL Server
• Leverage Microsoft Azure Functions and Durable Functions to implement cloud-based capabilities
  
  

Requirements

• Proven full-stack engineering experience of 9+ years with .NET, Microsoft Azure, and React
• Deep backend development expertise, including SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong skill in architecture definition, solution planning, and technical decision-making
• Track record of leading teams while keeping stakeholders aligned through the development process
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Functions and Durable Functions
• Working knowledge of AI SDLC practices and how to integrate them into delivery
• Understanding of agentic solution implementation using Microsoft tools and patterns

• Understanding of the Insurance value chain from submission to policy issuance, including quoting and binding
• Exposure to Excess lines specialty products such as Excess Casualty, Professional Liability, Medical Liability, Products, and Contractors
• Experience with Actuarial reserving concepts and workflows
