Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Own code quality and engineering standards by leading rigorous code reviews and enforcing best practices
Drive performance, scalability, and security across all web applications
Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team, with a strong focus on Next.js and modern frontend frameworks
Champion Agile delivery, facilitating key ceremonies and ensuring consistent, high-quality output
Partner with the Director of Software Development to align technical execution with business priorities
Promote innovation and continuous improvement, adopting new technologies and reducing technical debt

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
9+ years of experience in web development, with deep expertise in Next.js and React
Proven track record in technical leadership, team management, and code governance
Strong background in building high-performance, scalable, and secure applications
Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Certifications in relevant technologies or Agile methodologies are a plus
