Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an Operations Lead . Responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of operational employees to ensure efficient and effective operations. This role involves leading the daily operations, implementing operational policies and procedures, and ensures a high level of productivity. The supervisor leads a successful daily operation in the Pyrolysis Plant from material sufficiency, equipment conditioning, hitting production yield and target volumes, and pyrolysis oil inventory and quality. Moreover, the Operations Lead will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure that the organization complies with environmental regulations and promotes occupational health and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental management systems, workplace safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

What Are The Job Responsibilities

  • Supervises a team of operational staff, including assigning tasks, production and manpower scheduling and performance monitoring.
  • Monitors the daily operations to ensuring workflow efficiency and productivity goals and order fulfillment, while consistently identifying opportunities to improve overall efficiency while adhering to established policies and protocols.
  • Implements quality control measures to ensure products meet company standards and customer expectations, through conduct of regular analyses, inspections and audits across the manufacturing lifecycle and addresses quality concerns promptly and correctly.
  • Manages resources effectively, including equipment, materials, and manpower, ensuring all are geared towards maximized productivity and minimized wastage.
  • Ensures compliance with statutory, regulatory and company requirements via the conduct of regular audits, supplemented with compliance training programs for employees and the management.
  • Prepares and analyzes regular reports on operational performance, including identified key metrics and KPIs, supported with established measures for accurate record and proper file-keeping.
  • As a focal contact for operations, communicates effectively with team members, providing clear instructions and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Performs other functions which may be assigned by his immediate superior.

What Are The Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical engineering or any other equivalent courses.
  • More 3 - 5 years experience in operational management
  • Can handle Rank and File personnel effectively
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in operations or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate teams.
