Ensures IT Operations , Application Support and Technical Support related issues and requests are served and addressed in a timely manner
Responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and controlling their respective departments or units ; helps establish objectives and strategies to ensure Corporate and Departmental business plans and Quality objectives are met; and
Organizes value-adding activities; allocates adequate resources that contribute to achieving targeted goals; implements control to manage risks and ensure compliance. Manages direct reports and utilizes metrics to assess their actual performance; institutes specific developmental interventions to bridge performance gaps; and/or implement disciplinary measures based on consequences
Jo b Description
- Manages the ICT Application Support Team and Internal Business Partners in addressing cases regarding systems development support and application
- Ensures the ample supply of hardware and core systems support for the company
- Manages tasks of Project Teams, defines roles and responsibilities and sets performance objectives and standards
- Manages Maxicare IT Help Desk and engineers for internal and external uses
- Plans the activities, timetable, deliverables, and resources for business technology projects, PCC/Maxicare Wing build outs, and ensures completion of the assigned tasks following agreed schedule and budget
- Evaluates business requirements and provides the business community with sound advice on best business systems and IT practices
- Manages and ensures performance of outsourced service providers
- Participates in SLA reviews and monitors monthly performance through the agreed measurements or KPIs
- Coordinates activities of the ICT outsourced providers and ICT user community
- Evaluates the IT budget capital expenditure requirements of the organization and submits recommendations on applicable changes thereof
- Plans and implements BCP policies and procedures
- Conducts project reviews, evaluates project events, recommends courses of actions, archives project history and captures project results and oversees closure of the project once completed
- Collaborates with the Business Partners in selecting, managing and evaluating third party solutions providers to continually derive the best result of outsourcing both for the applications and hardware services
- Participates in evaluating the most suitable and qualified hardware and software suppliers or vendors; and identifies the best sources of required hardware and software
- Controls oversight processes for the outsourced functions like ad-hoc projects and projects to improve service levels of outsourced providers
- Interfaces with the Outsourced Provider to ensure contracted agreements are met
- Reviews and recommends cost-benefit analysis and feasibility study for proposed projects
