The Role

We're seeking a Lead Generation Specialist. This role is designed for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with strong lead research, prospecting, CRM management, and sales support experience.

You'll play a key role in identifying, researching, qualifying, and managing sales opportunities while supporting marketing initiatives and maintaining accurate prospect and customer data. The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, conducting online research, and uncovering new business opportunities through both internal and external sources.

Location: Must be in Colombia – Remote.

Environment: Colombian and International Teams.

Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1).

Timezone: Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST.

Contract: Non-fixed Term Colombian Contract.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Environmental Studies, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in B2B lead generation, prospect research, sales support, business development, marketing support, or similar roles.
  • Skills:
  • CRM experience (HubSpot preferred)
  • Lead generation and prospect research
  • Strong online research capabilities using public databases, permit systems, government and regulatory websites
  • Data management and database maintenance
  • Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience with ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or similar prospecting tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Marketing content review and support
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Copywriting and Canva experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospect Research (Internal Sources)

  • Generate leads from HubSpot, QuickBooks, SharePoint, legacy CRM systems, service records, billing data, and historical customer accounts.
  • Identify reactivation, renewal, and upsell opportunities from existing and past clients.
  • Build targeted lead lists based on territory, property type, service history, permit indicators, and customer profile.
  • Monitor recurring maintenance schedules, compliance deadlines, and inactive accounts for sales opportunities.
  • Consolidate, clean, and maintain accurate lead and customer data across systems.
  • Collaborate with operations and sales teams to uncover referral opportunities and upcoming service needs.

Lead Generation & Prospect Research (External Sources)

  • Source and qualify leads using ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, industry directories, and public databases.
  • Research commercial properties, HOAs, multifamily communities, industrial facilities, developers, and municipalities with potential stormwater management needs.
  • Use government, municipal, environmental, permit, GIS, and regulatory websites to identify compliance-related sales opportunities.
    • Research permit records, inspection reports, facility listings, and regulatory indicators to identify organizations that may require stormwater compliance, maintenance, inspections, remediation, or reporting services.
    • Work closely with the Marketing Lead to align on lead priorities, target customers, territories, and campaign goals.
    • Provide organized lead lists, research summaries, and customer insights to support marketing and outreach efforts.
    • Assist with campaign preparation, follow-ups, and targeted outreach initiatives.
    • Draft and/or review marketing emails, blog posts, social media content, presentations, and outbound communications for accuracy, consistency, and branding alignment.
    • Assist with updating marketing collateral, sales presentations, lead generation materials, and outreach content as needed.
    • Communicate research findings, data issues, and lead updates proactively.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to clarify customer history, billing details, account status, and prior service work.
    • Attend twice-weekly company meetings and daily/weekly 1-1 meetings
    • Use Microsoft 365 tools to manage information and communication.
    • Organize spreadsheets, reports, and lead lists with a high level of accuracy.
    • Maintain confidentiality of customer, billing, permit, and company data.
    • Recommend improvements to lead tracking, data hygiene, and research processes.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and prospect records in HubSpot.
    • Track lead sources, qualification status, follow-up actions, and pipeline details.
    • Follow established CRM workflows, naming conventions, and data entry standards.
  • Monitor construction activity, redevelopment projects, permit filings, and property transfers to identify new prospects.
  • Validate company, property, and contact information before updating the CRM.
  • Build organized prospect lists segmented by territory, industry, property type, permit status, and service need.
  • Support outbound marketing and sales efforts with prospect research, account intelligence, and lead qualification.
Marketing Support & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Marketing Lead to align on lead priorities, target customers, territories, and campaign goals.
  • Provide organized lead lists, research summaries, and customer insights to support marketing and outreach efforts.
