We are seeking a highly skilled B2B Lead Generation / Sales Operations Specialist with proven hands-on experience using Clay. This role owns the top of the funnel—from identifying target markets to building outbound-ready lead systems that generate meetings and pipeline.
This is not a data entry role. You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing lead generation systems that directly impact revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Top-of-Funnel Ownership
- Own the end-to-end creation and management of outbound lead lists
- Build highly targeted prospect lists aligned with ideal customer profiles (ICP)
- Identify and research target markets, including healthcare, hospice, and A/E firms
- Continuously source new opportunities and expand prospect databases
- Segment and score leads based on relevance, intent signals, and conversion potential
Clay Workflow Development
- Build, manage, and optimize advanced workflows within Clay
- Enrich prospect data with verified emails, decision-makers, and LinkedIn profiles
- Apply logic, filters, and automation to streamline data workflows
- Develop scalable systems for ongoing lead generation and enrichment
Outbound Campaign Support
- Support cold email and outbound initiatives through high-quality list building and segmentation
- Partner with leadership to refine targeting, messaging, and campaign strategy
- Ensure data accuracy and deliverability readiness for outbound campaigns
Performance Optimization & Analytics
- Track and analyze campaign and list performance (open rates, reply rates, conversions)
- Continuously improve lead quality and targeting strategies based on data insights
- Identify gaps and opportunities to optimize outbound systems
Systems & Tools
- Integrate Clay with tools such as Apollo.io, Instantly.ai, and similar platforms
- Maintain clean, organized, and scalable data infrastructure
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and usability of lead data across systems
Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience using Clay (mandatory—non-negotiable)
- Demonstrated experience in B2B lead generation, list building, and outbound systems
- Ability to build complete workflows (not just basic enrichment tasks)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Experience with Apollo.io, Instantly.ai, or similar outbound tools
- Strong understanding of cold email and outbound best practices
- Experience targeting U.S.-based businesses
- Background in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations (RevOps), or Growth
