We're a Sydney-based custom software agency. We build web and mobile apps for businesses that need real software, not templates. Our clients are operational businesses, founders, and companies modernising legacy systems. Small and growing team, shipping serious software.
The Role
You'll own delivery on real client projects from day one. Real builds, real deadlines, real clients.
This isn't a code monkey role. You think about architecture, you push back when something's off, you talk to clients when needed, and you make calls on technical trade-offs. You're senior enough you don't need babysitting.
What you'll work on
- Custom web apps (operational tools, portals, dashboards).
- Mobile apps
- Calculators and quoting tools
- AI automation embedded into client systems
- Legacy migrations and platform stewardship
Must-haves
- 6+ years professional full-stack experience.
- Strong TypeScript across React, Next.js, Node.
- Shipped real production apps end-to-end, not front-end or back-end only.
- Confident with database design, API design, deployment, and basic infra.
- Use AI coding tools daily and meaningfully (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) - we want a specific example of how AI changed how you work.
- Excellent English, written and spoken.
- Full-time only, no moonlighting or parallel agencies.
Nice to have
- Laravel or PHP for legacy projects.
- Payments experience (Stripe, Adyen).
- AI integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, vector DBs).
- Comfortable on a client call.

Compensation range
- Full-time, paid monthly.
- Reviewed at 3 and 12 months.
- Long-term role, not a short contract.
