Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to work on the Airline Gateway (AGW) platform. The role focuses on Python backend development, distributed systems, microservices and cloud-native application development on AWS.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Build and enhance backend services using Python.
- Design and develop microservices and REST APIs.
- Drive scalability, reliability, performance and observability.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD.
- Make architecture decisions and guide the engineering team.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers.
- Contribute to modernization and future adoption of Go.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on Python backend development experience.
- Strong experience designing distributed systems / microservices.
- Deep practical experience with AWS architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs and cloud-native applications.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD.
- Good understanding of scalability, concurrency, fault tolerance and system design.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and observability tools.
- Aviation/airline domain experience is a plus.
