This is a remote contract role for a Lead Editor at Orato World Media. The Lead Editor will manage the editorial process, ensuring the publication of high-quality, first-person narratives sourced globally. Core responsibilities include editing, fact-checking, and shaping stories, collaborating with journalists worldwide, and maintaining the platform's standards for accuracy and ethical storytelling. The Lead Editor will also assist in refining editorial strategies, mentoring writers, and contributing to the growth and reach of Orato's storytelling network.

• Advanced Editing and Proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail
• Story development and content curation expertise
• Strong understanding of journalism ethics and practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in managing editorial teams and overseeing content pipelines
• Proven ability to work remotely and collaborate with global teams
• Experience in digital publishing and content strategy preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field
