Lead Data Engineer (Databricks)

This role will serve as a Lead Data Engineer and subject matter expert, with a strong focus on Azure and Databricks. You will lead the technical delivery of strategic and high-impact data initiatives, provide guidance to the Data Engineering team, and collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, infrastructure, security, and data governance teams.

You will also play an important role in defining the data platform roadmap, strengthening engineering capabilities, and ensuring reliable production operations.

What you'll do:

• Lead complex and high-impact data engineering initiatives
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Data Engineers
• Drive solutions using Azure, Databricks, Python, ETL, and SQL
• Partner with Architects and business stakeholders on solution design and data platform roadmap
• Champion engineering best practices across CI/CD, monitoring, governance, and platform reliability

What we're looking for:

• 10+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on expertise in Azure & Databricks
• Solid experience in Python, ETL, SQL, and Data Architecture
• Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Cloudera or equivalent
• Knowledge of Kafka/RabbitMQ, APIs, CI/CD, and Data Governance
• Experience in Data Warehousing and Oracle GoldenGate is a plus.
