Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Trade Marketing Lead (Channel Strategy and Development)!

The Trade Marketing Manager (Channel Strategy and Development) is responsible for crafting and driving channel-specific strategies to optimize sales performance and enhance brand visibility across the channel/s. The Channel Strategy Development Lead is also tasked with identifying market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to develop actionable plans that improve channel performance.

What are the Job Responsibilities

  • Channel Champion
  • Primary knowledge center of the channel within the team.
  • Engages in research, studies to constantly improve shopper understanding within the channel.
  • Regularly reviews the company performance by channel, by area, through internal, external data and recommends appropriate intervention to address opportunities identified.
  • Maintains the collective view of the categories within the channel to drive the achievement of company channel sales metrics.
  • Strategy and Program Creation
  • Gatekeeps category activities within the channel by working with category strategy and field sales.
  • Approves programs initiated by field sales to ensure alignment to company priorities
  • Leads the team in consolidating all category initiatives (both HO and field), looking at synergies and develops the execution plan by month and by quarter.
  • Owns company channel SMAC development and leads in cascading plan to the Channel Execution Team.
  • Develops and cascades Perfect Store Standards for the Channel
  • Financial Management
  • Performs cost analysis for channel programs and initiatives.
  • Manages/approves budgets for business development / revenue generating programs.

What are the Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree on Business Management, Marketing or Engineering
  • Preferably with Trade Marketing background
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Willing to work onsite
