Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software maintenance or application support
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure with a security by design mindset (App Services, VMs, Storage, Networking, etc.)
- Proficiency with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
- Experience with Python
- Experience with YAML/Docker
- Experience with database optimization, indexing, and performance tuning
- Solid understanding of application troubleshooting and debugging
- Experience in leading projects or a small team
- Self starter
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Fintech, financial services, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with security, compliance, and data protection standards
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
- Knowledge of API integrations and microservices architecture and how they are secured
- Azure certifications (preferred but not required)
- TypeScript/React

Responsibilities
- Maintain, support, and enhance existing software applications and systems
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application and database issues
- Manage and support cloud-based infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
- Optimize database performance, integrity, and security
- Implement updates, patches, and system improvements
- Document system changes, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement technical solutions
- Provide technical support and guidance as needed
- Participate in system audits, security reviews, and compliance efforts
- Assist with disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning
