Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's / College Degree in Accountancy
- CPA license is an advantage
- At least 3 years cumulative experience in general / transactional accounting
- Experience in any cloud-based accounting system is an advantage
- Good understanding of business and risk management issues
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work in a fast paced work environment and can handle multiple engagements simultaneously
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to in-house systems
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision needed
- With excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Description
- Ensures that transaction processing and reviews are performed accurately and in a timely manner
- On top of an Associate's duties and responsibilities, Lead Associate is expected to work independently and to perform more complex accounting functions including reviews
- Reviews all accounting and document management processes performed by the Document Management Team
- Assists in supervising and performing extensive reviews of team members
- Assists in the preparation of client-time budgets
- Coordinates with Team Leader and other team members in order to properly manage workload distribution
- Ensure proper and timely communication with clients including follow-up of client deliverables
- Identifies and proposes process improvements
- Performs other ad-hoc tasks and projects
Work Set-Up:Hybrid (4 days WFH, 1 day onsite)
