Assist the Laundry Manager in overseeing daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.
Ensure laundry is processed and returned on time while maintaining cleanliness and quality standards.
Manage linen, guest laundry, and cleaning supply inventories.
Supervise handling, storage, and distribution of clean linens and garments.
Ensure laundry equipment is maintained and serviced regularly.
Lead, train, motivate, and manage laundry team members.
Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.
Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, and wear.
Implement and monitor laundry policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Ensure prompt and high-quality guest laundry service.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the laundry area.
Assist in managing departmental budgets and controlling operating costs.
Monitor laundry inventory and maintain accurate records.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
Coordinate with Housekeeping, Banquets, and other departments regarding laundry needs.
Respond to guest requests and communicate operational issues to management.

Proficiency in laundry management systems and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of laundry safety standards and procedures.
College Diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Facility Management, or a related field.
Relevant certifications preferred:
Professional Laundry Manager (PLM)
Textile Care Specialist Certification
OSHA Certification
At least 3 years of laundry operations experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
Knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals, detergents, and maintenance practices.
Experience in linen and textile care, including high-end fabrics.
Pre-opening experience in a hotel, integrated resort, or hospitality property is an advantage.
