Job Description

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years experience operating manual or CNC lathe machines
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools
  • Skilled in boring, drilling, threading, and tapping operations
  • Welding knowledge/experience is an advantage
  • Physically fit able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials

Key Responsibilities: Lathe Machine Operator

  • Set up and operate lathe machines to fabricate, modify, or repair metal parts and components.
  • Measure and inspect finished workpieces to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools.
  • Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain precision.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.
