LANDSCAPE OPERATION DIRECTOR
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the company's landscape maintenance and project operations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, work plans, and maintenance programmes.
- Manage landscape contracts, projects, budgets, manpower, and resources.
- Supervise and guide landscape managers, supervisors, horticulturists, and operational teams.
- Ensure all landscape works are carried out according to contractual requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Monitor site performance and ensure timely completion of works.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and relevant authorities.
- Conduct regular site inspections and address operational or service issues promptly.
- Review work performance, productivity, and resource requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
- Prepare and review quotations, tenders, budgets, reports, and operational proposals.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Diploma or Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Arboriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, or landscape project management.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale landscape operations and teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Good knowledge of horticultural practices, landscape maintenance, and industry standards.
- Experience in managing commercial contracts and client relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and projects effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Singapore Class 3 driving licence would be an advantage.
