Job Description
An applicants for Assistant Lab Supervisor supports the Lab Supervisor and Senior Lab Staff must be Degree holder and PRC holder in Med Tech or any related course in Laboratory job. His or Her duties are overseeing daily lab operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, managing lab supplies, performing basic lab tests, and maintaining equipment and records. This role often involves providing guidance to other assistants, contributing to administrative tasks, and assisting in the organization of experiments, ultimately ensuring the lab runs efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Coordination
Assist the Lab Supervisor in overseeing daily lab operations and production schedules.
Provide guidance and support to junior lab assistants and technicians.
Act as a liaison between different departments or stakeholders within the lab.
Lab Operations & Maintenance
Ensure lab areas are clean, organized, and properly sterilized.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
Manage laboratory inventory, order supplies, and track stock.
Technical Support & Compliance
Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures as required.
Prepare samples and materials for experiments and testing.
Collect, record, and document data and test results with accuracy.
Ensure all lab activities comply with established safety regulations, procedures, and quality standards.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
Maintain meticulous records and ensure information is easily accessible.
Assist with administrative tasks and compile reports on production and shift activities.
Contribute to the development of operating procedures, policies, and guidelines.
