Perform laboratory activities, such as setting up lab equipment and preparing chemical solutions.
Troubleshoot equipment and processes.
Prepare calibration curves for analysis.
Perform method validation and verification.
Record, compute and analyze results of testing.
Collect, prepare and/or test WEM samples.
Regularly update monitoring forms and control charts.
Keep test equipment clean and calibrated.
Write reports, reviews and summaries.
Keep up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments.
Carry out risk assessments.
Order and maintain laboratory resource inventory
Update laboratory environmental, safety, hazard and waste disposal records.
Follow organizations guidelines and policy on quality, Environment, Safety and Health (QESH), especially on safe chemical handling, storage and disposal
Commitment to responsibility and participation in the Quality, Environment, Safety & Health, and CSR programs and activities of the organization.
Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
