Network Admin II – Network (JG 05)

Department: Infrastructure Shared Services Center

Job Purpose

Responsible for operating, maintaining, and supporting enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure to ensure network availability, performance, and security while meeting agreed SLAs and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless networks, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Handle network incidents, service requests, device configuration, patching, backups, and approved changes.
• Perform root-cause analysis, escalation, and technical documentation.
• Support network projects, upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with global IT teams, business units, and vendors to ensure reliable network services.
• Follow ITIL processes, security policies, and operational procedures.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP.
• Working knowledge of LAN/WAN/WLAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic firewall administration.
• Experience with network monitoring, packet analysis, and troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, CMDB, ITIL processes, and network documentation.
• Cisco networking experience preferred; CCNA certification is an advantage.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3–5 years of overall IT experience, including at least 2 years in L2 network administration or support.
• Experience with enterprise networking platforms and international IT support environments preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Customer-focused, organized, adaptable, and an effective team player.
• Excellent English communication skills; French reading proficiency is an advantage.
