Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable and proactive professional to join a specialized team responsible for the rollout and ongoing support of mission-critical trading platforms. This position plays a key role in ensuring system reliability and performance while working closely with business users and technical teams.
You'll be part of a collaborative and agile environment, contributing to both operational support and continuous improvement initiatives. The role provides strong exposure across teams and offers opportunities for growth based on performance and initiative.
What You'll Do
- Maintain performance, stability, and availability of trading systems
- Provide L2 support for incidents and service requests
- Handle deployments, enhancements, and fixes with QA/Dev teams
- Manage application environments and integrations
- Develop automation scripts for monitoring and reporting
- Maintain technical documentation and runbooks
- Participate in production and release discussions
- Manage change lifecycle and approvals
- Support escalations and mentor junior team members
- Oversee ticket queues and shift handovers
- Act as team lead when needed
- Follow ITIL processes for support and operations
What You'll Bring
- Strong Windows Server and Unix/Linux expertise
- Proficient in SQL (T-SQL, SQL Server tools)
- Familiar with SSH, SFTP, and networking tools
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Perl)
- Knowledge of change management and ITIL processes
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, or TFS (preferred)
