Position Summary
The Instructional Designer at Valor Global is responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing learning solutions that support employee performance, operational efficiency, and business growth. This role focuses on creating engaging, learnercentered training content using proven instructional design principles while collaborating closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop instructional materials such as training modules, presentations, manuals, job aids, and assessments
- Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE) to create structured and effective learning programs
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure content accuracy and relevance
- Develop content for various learning formats, including instructorled, virtual, blended, and elearning
- Review and update existing training materials to maintain quality and alignment with business needs
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance data
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of learning materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training & Development, Psychology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in instructional design, learning development, or corporate training
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Proficient in content development tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, LMS platforms, and elearning tools (Articulate, Captivate is a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Willing to work onsite and/or flexible shifts as needed (Night Shift).
- Must be willing to support BOTH Sites (Binan Laguna and Taguig)
Nice to Have
- Experience in corporate, BPO, or academy training
- Background in learning evaluation and reporting
- Instructional Design or L&D certification
