Job Summary:
The L&D Instructional/Curriculum Developeris responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging learning experiences that align with organizational goals. This role combines creativity, instructional design principles, and technology to create high-quality training materials for various learning modalities, including e-learning, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), and blended learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instructional Design & Development
- Analyze learning needs and performance gaps to design effective training solutions.
- Develop instructional materials using adult learning principles and modern learning methodologies.
- Create engaging content for e-learning, ILT, VILT, and blended learning programs.
- Design storyboards, scripts, and course outlines for digital and classroom training.
- Content Creation
- Develop multimedia learning assets (videos, graphics, interactive modules).
- Write clear, concise, and learner-friendly content.
- Ensure all materials are aligned with Valor Global and Client brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
- Technology & Tools
- Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Rise) and LMS platforms.
- Incorporate gamification, microlearning, and other innovative approaches.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with Operational and Department leaders to gather requests, identify developmental opportunities, and forecast training needs.
- Partner with L&D, Training, and FLD team members to ensure consistency and quality across programs.
- Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Apply ADDIE model in developing content.
- Implement Kirkpatrick and/or similar frameworks to measure training effectiveness.
- Revise and update content based on feedback and evolving business needs.
- Facilitation
- Facilitate in-classroom, on-site, or virtual training sessions only as needed and as directed by the L&D Manager, or proactively initiate facilitation when there is a confirmed business need.
- Work Set-up Expectations
- As a Content Developer, your responsibilities include analyzing learning needs, observing implementation, and evaluating program or project effectiveness.
- To gather accurate data and operational insights that enhance the quality and relevance of training materials, this role requires on-site presence when necessary.
- However, the position follows a hybrid work arrangement, allowing flexibility to perform design and development tasks remotely while ensuring in-person collaboration for data collection and key project milestones
