Kitchen Technician (Facilities and Maintenance)

Modala Beach Resort Panglao, located on the pristine island of Panglao, boasts the longest stretch of white sand shoreline in the area and is surrounded by lush tropical greenery. It features 126 elegantly designed beach rooms, each with a private balcony offering stunning ocean views, and spacious interiors of 45 to 50 square meters. Guests can enjoy an infinity pool, Recovery Spa, and the Mangaon Ta Restaurant & Bar, which serves a delightful mix of international and Asian cuisines. Adjacent to the resort is the Moadto Strip Mall, a beachfront shopping, dining, and retail space with a unique design and a variety of engaging activities and local offerings.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Kitchen Technician (Facilities and Maintenance) based at our picturesque location in Panglao. The Kitchen Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the proper functioning of all kitchen equipment and systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, adhering to safety standards, and addressing urgent repairs promptly to ensure seamless kitchen operations and minimal downtime. The technician will also collaborate with the facilities team to support general maintenance efforts across the resort as needed.

• Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair
• Strong knowledge of Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance procedures
• Experience with Industrial Maintenance and managing heavy-duty kitchen equipment
• Understanding of safety protocols and compliance with industry standards
• Ability to work on-site in a hands-on role in Panglao
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team
• Previous hotel, resort, or hospitality maintenance experience is a plus
• Trade certification or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is preferred
