Job Description

*This role will be for By the Bay (Pasay) and Greenbelt

Responsibilities

  • Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food orders
  • Supervise food prep and cooking
  • Check food plating and temperature
  • Establish portion sizes
  • Schedule kitchen staff shifts
  • Price menu items in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager
  • Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed
  • Train kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques
  • Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)
  • Keep weekly and monthly cost reports
  • Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, or any equivalent courses. We are also open to candidates who are undergraduates, as long as their experience is in line with the role.
  • At least 2 years of Managerial experience in the restaurant industry.
  • Experience in Profit & Loss reporting (P&L), Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)/Food Cost Per Cover (FCPC), menu costing, and recipe costing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operating costs in accordance with budgets.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in order management, forecasting, inventory management, people management, and scheduling.
