Qualifications

  • Hands-on Kinaxis experience is required within materials, supply, production, or related planning environments
  • Proven experience working with international clients, suppliers, or stakeholders in supply chain or planning operations
  • 3-5 years of experience in materials planning, supply planning, buyer/planner, or related manufacturing planning roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Working knowledge of Oracle EBS or SAP, particularly MRP, purchasing, and inventory functions
  • Strong understanding of MRP, safety stock, inventory coverage, aging, and excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze planning, supply, and inventory data
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional and international teams
  • Experience working in regulated or complex manufacturing environments is an advantage
  • APICS CPIM/CSCP certification, BI tool proficiency, or experience within a structured planning governance/CoE environment is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Review weekly material requirements and convert planning signals into purchase order decisions, including release, reschedule, expedite, or cancellation actions
  • Track supplier commitments and schedule performance, following up on confirmations and delivery risks to protect material availability
  • Address material planning exceptions within required service levels and coordinate recovery actions for supply-related delays
  • Raise supplier capacity, lead-time, and yield concerns that fall outside approved planning thresholds and present recommended next steps
  • Monitor stock coverage, aging, and inventory health while maintaining safety stock settings within approved planning governance
  • Flag potential excess or obsolete inventory early, assess financial exposure, and support disposition and corrective action planning
  • Apply approved authority to update safety stock parameters and recommend E&O actions supported by quantified impact
  • Contribute to S&OE reviews by sharing material risks, constraints, and recovery plans with relevant stakeholders
  • Keep planning data current by reviewing lead times, MOQs, lot sizes, safety stock values, and other master data inputs
  • Monitor planning performance through OTIF, PO timing, E&O movement, inventory aging, turns, days of supply, and parameter compliance
