Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Portfolio Ownership
- Own and deliver revenue targets for AP and Microbiology across assigned accounts and territories.
- Drive test utilization growth through strategic account penetration, case capture, and demand generation initiatives.
- Identify high-value opportunities in oncology (histopathology, cytology, immunohistochemistry) and microbiology (culture & sensitivity, infectious disease panels).
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with overall commercial objectives.
Key Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with oncologists, pathologists, infectious disease specialists, and hospital decision-makers.
- Position the organization as a trusted diagnostic partner through consistent engagement, scientific discussions, and service reliability.
- Navigate complex hospital structures to influence both clinical and administrative stakeholders.
Business Development & Account Expansion
- Identify, acquire, and onboard new accounts with strong potential for AP and Microbiology services.
- Expand share-of-wallet within existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling of specialized tests.
- Lead negotiations and coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful account activation and retention.
Clinical & Commercial Value Proposition
- Effectively communicate the clinical relevance and diagnostic value of AP and Microbiology services to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with medical and technical teams to support case discussions, test selection, and result utilization.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging diagnostic technologies.
Execution Excellence & Reporting
- Ensure consistent execution of sales activities including calls, presentations, and follow-ups.
- Monitor performance metrics, pipeline status, and conversion rates to ensure target achievement.
- Provide accurate and timely reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to the National Sales Manager and Key Accounts Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in healthcare sales, preferably in diagnostics, with strong exposure to Anatomic Pathology and/or Microbiology.
- Proven track record of engaging and doing business with oncologists and hospital based stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of oncology workflows, diagnostic pathways, and microbiology testing applications is highly preferred.
