Job Summary

The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key clients to drive revenue growth, retention, and long-term partnerships. The role focuses on developing strategic account plans, ensuring excellent service delivery, and identifying opportunities to grow business within existing accounts. This position plays a critical role in aligning client needs with company capabilities while ensuring consistent achievement of sales and business targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts to ensure client satisfaction and long-term retention
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with sales targets and business objectives
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, concerns, and escalations professionally
  • Identify and drive opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion
  • Monitor account performance, sales results, and profitability, providing insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, operations, logistics, and supply chain to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Lead business reviews with clients and present performance updates, insights, and growth plans
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial agreements to maximize value for both the client and the business
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues and maintain a high level of service quality
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to support account growth strategies

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven experience in key account management, sales, or client relationship management
  • Strong experience handling strategic or high-value accounts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in FMCG, retail, manufacturing, or related industries is an advantage
