Position Summary
The Key Accounts Manager – Golf is responsible for developing, managing, and growing NAVCO's network of golf dealers and key accounts across the Philippines. The position will focus on scouting and acquiring new dealers, generating sales, strengthening relationships with existing accounts, and ensuring the continued growth of Garmin products within the Philippine golf market.
The Key Accounts Manager will manage the complete dealer sales cycle—from prospecting and account acquisition to order taking, order fulfillment monitoring, after-sales support, repeat purchases, and relationship management.
The Key Accounts Manager reports directly to the Channel Sales Head – Specialty Division.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development and Dealer Acquisition
- Scout, identify, and develop potential golf dealers and key accounts throughout the Philippines.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities within golf clubs, pro shops, sporting goods retailers, specialty stores, and other relevant sales channels.
- Present and promote NAVCO's Garmin product portfolio to prospective dealers.
- Develop proposals and negotiate commercial opportunities in accordance with company policies.
- Establish new dealer accounts and ensure proper onboarding and account activation.
2. Sales and Account Management
- Achieve assigned sales targets and account growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with assigned dealers and key accounts.
- Conduct regular dealer visits and business reviews.
- Identify opportunities to increase product assortment, sales volume, and market presence.
- Encourage and secure repeat purchases and replenishment orders.
- Introduce new Garmin products and promotions to dealers.
- Monitor dealer sales performance and recommend strategies to improve account growth.
3. Order Taking and Order Fulfillment
- Receive and process dealer purchase orders accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding product availability, pricing, delivery schedules, and other order requirements.
- Monitor orders from placement through delivery and fulfillment.
- Proactively follow up on delayed, incomplete, or outstanding orders.
- Keep dealers informed regarding order status and delivery updates.
4. Dealer Support and Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned golf dealers and key accounts.
- Attend to dealer inquiries, concerns, and business requirements promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with relevant NAVCO departments to resolve dealer concerns.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and strengthen long-term business relationships.
5. Defective Product Returns and After-Sales Coordination
- Assist dealers with concerns regarding defective products and product returns.
- Ensure proper documentation and processing of return requests in accordance with NAVCO and Garmin policies.
- Coordinate with the appropriate internal teams regarding replacement, repair, credit, or other applicable resolutions.
- Monitor cases until proper resolution and provide timely updates to dealers.
6. Reporting and Sales Administration
- Submit regular sales, dealer activity, and market reports to the Channel Sales Head – Specialty Division.
- Maintain accurate records of dealer accounts, sales activities, orders, concerns, and account opportunities.
- Provide updates on new dealer prospects, account developments, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and other required reports within agreed deadlines.
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and dealer database.
7. Market Intelligence
- Monitor developments within the Philippine golf industry.
- Gather information on competitor products, pricing, promotions, dealer activities, and market opportunities.
- Provide recommendations to management regarding sales strategies, dealer development, and market expansion.
- Identify potential partnerships and opportunities that can strengthen Garmin's presence in the golf market.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Performance may be evaluated based on:
- Achievement of sales targets
- Number of new golf dealers and key accounts acquired
- Growth of existing dealer accounts
- Repeat purchase and dealer retention rate
- Number and quality of dealer visits and account engagements
- Order accuracy and timely order processing
- Order fulfillment monitoring and follow-up effectiveness
- Timely resolution and proper handling of dealer concerns
- Timely and accurate submission of reports

- Overall growth of Garmin products within the Philippine golf dealer network
Qualifications
- At least college level in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, key account management, business development, or dealer management.
- Experience in the golf, sports, consumer electronics, retail, or distribution industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Philippine golf market and golf dealer network is highly preferred.
- Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple accounts and priorities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Philippines for dealer visits and business development activities.
- Proficiency in preparing sales reports and using Microsoft Office or similar business tools.
- Familiarity with Garmin products or the golf technology industry is an advantage.

Work Arrangement
The Key Accounts Manager will work on a flexible Monday-to-Friday schedule. The nature of the role requires a combination of:
