Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Key Account Specialist to manage and grow relationships with strategic customers and business partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining key accounts, identifying growth opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets. This role requires strong account management, negotiation, and business development skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain relationships with assigned key accounts to ensure long-term business partnerships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers and address their concerns and requirements promptly.
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales growth and customer retention objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding business within existing accounts.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and meetings with key customers.
  • Monitor customer performance, sales trends, and market developments.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, account reports, and business presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms within company guidelines.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, Business Development, or Customer Relationship Management.
  • Proven experience handling major accounts, distributors, modern trade, retail chains, or corporate clients.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategic account plans.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Willing to travel for client meetings and business reviews as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the FMCG, agribusiness, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, retail, or distribution industries.
  • Knowledge of sales forecasting, category management, and trade marketing.
  • Experience handling national or regional accounts.
