Summary of the Role
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing strategic B2B accounts by developing and executing business plans, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to expand services within existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow key corporate accounts, ensuring strong client relationships
- Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with business objectives
- Track and maintain the sales pipeline to ensure consistent deal flow
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, warehouse, transport, and marketing) for smooth account onboarding and service delivery
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client concerns, ensuring timely resolution
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to align goals and expectations
- Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and account updates for management
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales targets
Must-Have Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience managing B2B or key corporate accounts, preferably in logistics, FMCG, or BFSI
- Strong analytical, business planning, and problem-solving skills
