We are looking for a highly driven Key Account Manager to lead business development and account management initiatives within our modern trade and key customer channels. The role is responsible for building strong partnerships with key retail accounts, driving sales growth, ensuring in-store excellence, and executing customer-specific business plans aligned with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management: Build and strengthen partnerships with key customers through regular engagement, performance reviews, and execution of strategic business plans.
- Sales Forecasting & Monitoring: Prepare accurate forecasts, track weekly sales trends, and recommend timely actions to achieve sales and distribution targets.
- Business Development & Trade Execution: Develop and implement tailored trade programs and promotional initiatives that drive growth, visibility, and category leadership.
- Market & Data Analytics: Analyze customer POS data, market trends, and shopper behavior to guide strategy and identify new business opportunities.
- Operational Excellence: Manage inventory, merchandising, and on-shelf availability to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Financial & Administrative Oversight: Monitor accounts receivable, manage trade budgets, and ensure proper documentation, compliance, and cost efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any 4-year college course, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- At least one (1) year of progressive experience in sales, preferably as a Key Account Specialist, Customer Development Specialist, or in a similar role within the consumer goods (FMCG) industry, with exposure to Modern Trade operations. Experience in food manufacturing is an advantage.
- Proven track record in sales achievement, business development, and account management.
- Proficient in sales forecasting, data analysis (utilizing tools like BI, Nielsen, Kantar, Customer POS), and business planning.
- Knowledge of sales operations, supply chain coordination, and financial metrics (P&L, ROI, A/R Current).
- Above average interpersonal, communication (written, verbal, presentation), and leadership skills.
- Capable user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
- Intermediate driving skills and with a valid driver's license.
