Job Description
The Key Account Executive is responsible for supporting sales growth, account development, and relationship management across assigned dealers, distributors, corporate clients, resellers, and business partners. The role focuses on maintaining strong customer relationships, generating sales opportunities, and ensuring excellent account servicing to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
The position combines account management, sales execution, and business development by supporting existing accounts, identifying new opportunities, monitoring account performance, and coordinating with internal teams to meet customer requirements. The Key Account Executive serves as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts and plays a key role in achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.
Success in this role is measured through sales performance, account retention, customer satisfaction, business development activities, and effective coordination with both clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities and job-related duties required to support business needs include but are not limited to:
Account Management & Client Support- Manage and maintain relationships with assigned dealers, distributors, resellers, corporate clients, and business partners.
- Conduct regular client visits, account check-ins, and business reviews.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and service requirements promptly.
- Support account retention efforts and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
- Identify sales opportunities within existing accounts.
- Assist in reactivating inactive or underperforming accounts.
- Coordinate after-sales concerns and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Manage assigned accounts and support sell-in and account development initiatives.
- Participate in product training, utilizing a hands-on approach to develop deep product knowledge through active usage and testing.
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Generate sales opportunities through active account management and prospecting.
- Promote priority products, bundles, and strategic product categories.
- Follow up on quotations, proposals, and pending customer requirements.
- Support dealer and customer sales activities to improve sell-through performance.
- Coordinate with marketing on promotional activities, campaigns, and product launches.
- Assist in securing B2B opportunities, corporate sales, and bulk orders.
- Manage government sales and bidding processes, including RFQ sourcing, quotation preparation, bidding, fulfillment coordination, and collections.
- Develop and manage non-government B2B sales opportunities.
- Identify and acquire new customers, dealers, resellers, and business opportunities.
- Expand customer coverage within assigned territories and market segments.
- Build relationships with SMEs, corporate accounts, schools, LGUs, and retail partners.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Recommend opportunities for account growth and market expansion.
- Participate in trade shows, events, product demonstrations, and networking activities.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade fairs as required.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, opportunities, and sales activities.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Monitor account performance and sales pipeline updates.
- Track inventory availability and coordinate stock requirements with relevant teams.
- Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and demand forecasts.
- Ensure timely updating of CRM systems and customer databases.
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, finance, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure smooth account servicing.
- Assist in order processing, delivery monitoring, collection follow-ups, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain complete and updated client records.
- Adhere to company policies, sales processes, and reporting deadlines.
- Escalate account issues, operational concerns, and customer risks when necessary.
- Oversee collection efforts, including following up on pending payments and coordinating collections alongside deliveries.
