Job Summary

Nishin Baby Pte Ltd seeks a proactive Key Account Executive to drive sales growth and strengthen relationships with major retail partners. The role requires FMCG sales expertise and experience managing supermarket and retail chain accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts including supermarkets, department stores, and retail chains to drive sales growth
  • Collaborate with buyers to secure product listings, negotiate commercial terms, and implement promotional activities
  • Create and execute account plans to meet sales targets, increase market penetration, and support business expansion
  • Monitor sales performance, inventory, and product movement to recommend and implement effective sales strategies
  • Plan and manage trade promotions, in-store campaigns, product launches, and merchandising initiatives to boost brand visibility
  • Conduct market research to track industry trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and pricing strategies for informed decision-making
  • Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of sales activities
  • Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and account performance analyses for management review
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand distribution channels and increase market share
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, trade exhibitions, and business events to build networks and support growth
  • Travel locally and internationally as needed to support customers and market development efforts

Required competencies and certifications

  • Proven experience managing key accounts and engaging directly with buyers from major supermarkets, department stores, and retail chains
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable sales plans
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline
  • Experience in baby essentials, baby care, mother-and-child products, or related consumer products
  • Experience planning and executing marketing campaigns, trade promotions, or brand-building activities
  • Good understanding of retail operations, category management, and FMCG market trends
  • Self-motivated, independent, and target-oriented with a strong commercial mindset
