The KAM Lead will be responsible for driving the growth, performance, and engagement of Shopee's external affiliate ecosystem. This role will lead a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) focused on affiliate acquisition, creator management, and MCN partnerships, while developing strategies, programs, and incentives to sustainably scale affiliate-driven traffic and GMV.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of KAMs, ensuring strong performance, capability development, and achievement of business targets.
  • Drive affiliate ecosystem growth through creator acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization initiatives.
  • Oversee strategic relationships with MCNs, agencies, and top-tier managed creators to maximize affiliate performance.
  • Design and execute incentive programs, campaigns, and engagement strategies to increase affiliate activity, content output, and GMV contribution.
  • Monitor affiliate performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and creator ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Business Development, Category, Product, and Regional teams to develop growth initiatives and unlock new opportunities.
  • Establish scalable processes, reporting frameworks, and operational best practices to support long-term affiliate growth.
  • Analyze market trends, creator behavior, and competitor activities to inform business strategy and program development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, partnership management, creator ecosystem, affiliate marketing, or business development.
  • Experience managing teams and driving performance through clear KPIs and coaching.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in e-commerce, creator economy, social commerce, affiliate marketing, or digital advertising is highly preferred.
