We are seeking a Junior Web Developer to support website development, website maintenance, automation, AI-powered workflows, and data operations. This role combines hands-on web development with technical problem-solving to improve business processes, maintain WordPress websites, and leverage AI tools to increase productivity.
This role is ideal for recent graduates, early-career developers, or professionals looking to build a long-term career in web development, automation, AI, or software engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and update WordPress websites, including posting content, managing plugins, configuring page builders, and making template and layout adjustments
- Develop and maintain responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and technical problems independently
- Assist with SEO implementation by optimizing page structure, metadata, content formatting, and internal linking
- Perform website maintenance, plugin updates, and ongoing performance monitoring
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar to accelerate coding, debugging, documentation, research, and repetitive development tasks
- Utilize AI-assisted development environments and vibe-coding tools such as Replit, Claude Code, Codex, or similar platforms to build and improve web solutions
- Build and maintain simple automations that streamline internal business processes
- Clean, organize, validate, and transform data using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
- Perform data quality assurance, including validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting data issues
- Document technical processes, workflows, automations, and standard operating procedures
- Follow cybersecurity best practices, including secure credential management, multi-factor authentication, user access controls, and phishing awareness
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement website enhancements and technical improvements
- Research and evaluate emerging web technologies, AI tools, and automation platforms to improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
Required
- Experience working with WordPress, including content management, plugin administration, page builders, and template/layout modifications
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals and website optimization best practices
- Familiarity with core programming concepts, including variables, conditionals, loops, functions, and debugging techniques
- Strong Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, filtering, lookups, data cleanup, and data quality validation
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Replit, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar coding environments
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms to improve productivity across coding, research, writing, debugging, and data transformation
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including password management, two-factor authentication, credential security, and phishing prevention
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Preferred
- Experience with PHP or another open-source server-side programming language
- Experience with Google Apps Script or other workflow automation platforms
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Google Tag Manager
- Basic understanding of web hosting, DNS, Cloudflare, SSL certificates, redirects, and website caching
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
- Basic familiarity with APIs, JSON, and integrating third-party services

Rate: 270-280 PHP per hour
