Altitude Ventures, OPC is seeking a motivated
Junior Van Sales Staff. The role is responsible for assisting in daily van-selling operations, product delivery, market coverage, and customer servicing. The position supports sales growth by actively promoting products, conducting basket selling, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring proper vehicle condition and delivery operations.
The
Junior Van Sales Staff also serves as reliever for the Senior Van Salesman during absences and is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and proper maintenance coordination of assigned panel trucks.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Sales and Market execution
- Assist in achieving daily and monthly sales targets.
- Perform active selling and not merely order taking.
- Conduct basket selling by suggesting additional products and recommending fast-moving and related SKUs.
- Introduce slow-moving and non-moving products to customers.
- Increase store coverage and market penetration within assigned routes.
- Ensure products are available in all covered outlets.
- Build and maintain good customer relationships.
- Handle customer concerns professionally.
- Follow assigned route plans and avoid missed calls.
- Delivery & Operational Responsibilities
- Drive the assigned panel truck safely and responsibly.
- Deliver products accurately and on time.
- Assist in loading and unloading of stocks.
- Ensure accurate inventory count before and after route operations.
- Secure company assets, products, and collections.
- Assist in collection activities and proper remittance procedures.
- Submit accurate daily sales and delivery reports.
- Immediately report discrepancies, shortages, or delivery issues.
- Reliever Responsibilities
- Act as reliever for the Senior Van Salesman during absences, leave, or emergencies.
- Temporarily handle assigned routes, collections, deliveries, and sales responsibilities of the Senior Van Salesman.
- Maintain continuity of operations and customer servicing.
- Vehicle & Maintenance Responsibilities
- Conduct daily vehicle inspection before departure and after operations,
- Ensure overall cleanliness of the assigned panel truck.
- Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance concerns immediately to the Admin.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and repair concerns.
- Ensure complete vehicle documents and emergency tools are available inside the vehicle.
- Practice safe driving and comply with traffic regulations.
Daily Vehicle Checklist
The Junior Van Sales Staff shall perform and document the following daily vehicle inspection:
- Exterior Inspection
- Tires condition and tire pressure
- Lights and signal lights
- Side mirrors and windshield
- Windshield wipers
- Body condition and panel truck cleanliness
- Plate numbervisibility
- Engine & Mechanical Check
- Engine oil level
- Brake fluid
- Coolant/radiator water
- Battery condition
- Fuel level
- Brake condition
- Clutch and steering functionality
- Operational Check
- Horn functionality
- Air-conditioning condition
- Door locks
- Odometer recording
- Delivery documents completeness
Any issue found must be reported immediately to the Admin or Supervisor before dispatch.
- Vehicle & Workplace Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned panel truck.
- Ensure products inside the vehicle are properly arranged and secured.
- Maintain cleanliness of company delivery equipment and materials.
- Ensure the assigned vehicle is always presentable and operationally ready.

Qualifications
- Graduate of any 4-year course (if undergraduate, the applicant must have completed at least 72 college units)
- Must have a Valid Drivers License (with restriction code 1, 2, 3)
- Must know how to drive a 6-wheel vehicle
- Honest, trustworthy, and reliable
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Familiar with local routes and areas.
- Must be willing to do field work.
- Experience in van selling is preferred.
