The Junior Tester supports the QA team in delivering high-quality systems within the banking and financial services industry. This role is crucial for executing test cases across various testing phases, identifying defects, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure systems meet business and technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of test strategies, plans, and schedules
- Ensure efficient execution of testing activities
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define test scope, goals, and key deliverables
- Execute testing phases including functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Ensure testing processes are aligned with both business requirements and technical specifications
- Monitor and report on testing metrics, progress of test execution, and defect resolution

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field
- At least 0–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Basic understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and testing life cycle (STLC)
- Familiarity with different testing types such as functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Ability to create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
- Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skill
