Job Description

The Junior Technical Sales Account Manager position is an entry-level role designed for early-career professionals passionate about sales, client engagement, and technology solutions. Working closely with pre-sales engineering teams, you will gain hands-on experience in managing client accounts, understanding technical requirements, and supporting solution design. This role offers structured training and mentorship to build a strong foundation for a career in technical sales and account management.

Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Relationship Support

  • Maintaining and nurturing strong relationships with clients, ensuring a positive experience across touchpoints.
  • Support senior account managers by handling client inquiries, updates, and day-to-day account needs.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to build rapport, clarify requirements, and understand client challenges.

Financial Targets

  • Achieve financial targets set by the company: Sales, Margin, Gross Profit, and Pipeline
  • Provide weekly activity reports and updates to support pipeline visibility and ensure alignment with financial targets.

Sales Strategy & Technical Support

  • Participate in developing sales strategies and account action plans targeting growth and retention.
  • Assist in identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on client needs and technical fit.
  • Learn to prepare sales proposals, presentations, solution overviews, and supporting materials with guidance from senior team members.

Technical

  • Liaise with clients to understand their technical and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and engineering teams to design solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Act as a trusted technical adviser to clients and the account team.
  • Perform scoping and requirements gathering for technical and business needs.
  • Prepare technical designs and documentation (BOM, HLD, SOW, write-ups, etc.).
  • Develop technical proposals for project bids, including compliance sheets and annexes.
  • Conduct client presentations covering solution design, proposals, and product portfolios.
  • Perform Proof of Concept (PoC) activities or technical demonstrations to validate solutions.
  • Conduct site surveys to support accurate technical planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and partner offerings through trainings and certifications.
  • Maintain solid technical understanding of company products and solution offerings.

Account Coordination & Project Tracking

  • Help coordinate sales and technical activities, meetings, and timelines to ensure smooth communication across teams developments.
  • Attend client meetings, taking minutes and outlining follow-up tasks.

Data Tracking & Reporting

  • Gather and organize client performance data, usage trends, and feedback for review.
  • Prepare basic reports and insights to support sales forecasting and technical recommendations.
  • Assist in analyzing data to identify patterns and propose preliminary improvement opportunities.

Professional Development & Training

  • Complete required training, certifications, and development programs in both sales and technical areas.
  • Build a solid understanding of the company's products, solutions, and technologies.
  • Continuously sharpen client management, communication, and technical sales skills

Qualifications:

  • Fresh graduate with a bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, Computer Science, or similar field.
  • Must have a GWA of 2.25 or better and must not have a failing subject.
  • Must have taken Cisco or equivalent courses or trainings.
  • CCNA certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong interest in both technical solutioning and sales activities.
  • Basic understanding of servers, storage, networking, and IT infrastructure.
  • Good communication and presentation skills (English & Filipino).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills and willingness to learn
