Position Summary
The Junior Supervisor, Poker Room oversees the operations of poker games in a casino or gaming establishment. This role ensures games are conducted efficiently, fairly, and in compliance with established rules and regulations while maintaining high customer service standards and a positive gaming experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise poker games to ensure compliance with rules, house policies, and gaming regulations.
- Monitor game flow, player conduct, and dealer performance to maintain fairness and security.
- Responsible for all Poker Room operations when on duty.
- Assist in organizing and managing poker tournaments or special events.
- Promote house promotions and engage players to enhance their gaming experience.
- Handle disputes or conflicts with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by immediate superior
Qualifications

- Customer service
- Casino operations background
II. Education
Tertiary Education Is Preferred But Not Essential.
III. Skills / Competencies
- Prior experience as a poker dealer in the gaming industry
- Strong knowledge of poker rules, strategies, and house policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate staff.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
