This is a remote position.

Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Our focus is on developing the very best mobile and web applications and building long-term relationships with our clients. We are currently looking for a Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to add to our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute manual tests to identify software defects and ensure quality.
  • Review and understand software requirements and specifications.
  • Create, update, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans.
  • Report and track defects using a defect tracking system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not compromised by new changes.
  • Document and communicate test results to the QA Manager and development team.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing.

Requirements

Must Haves:

he Junior Manual QA Tester is responsible for executing manual tests to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. This role requires a basic understanding of software testing principles and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • More than 2 years of experience in software testing.
  • Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with testing web and mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and techniques.
  • ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
