Junior Software Quality Analyst

The Junior Software Quality Analyst (QA) is responsible for ensuring that software applications meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. This role involves executing test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with developers and project teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. The Junior QA will also contribute to improving testing processes and maintaining quality assurance documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in software quality assurance or software testing
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Postman, Selenium) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation and API testing is preferred.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Candidates must be willing to report 3X onsite in Makati

Job Description:

• Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing on new software builds.
• Conduct functional, integration, and system testing based on test plans and scenarios.
