Job Description

The site engineer is responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are executed in accordance with design plans, quality standards and safety regulations. The role requires coordination with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise onsite construction activities and ensure work is carried out as per project specifications and schedules.
• Monitor progress and quality of work, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors and consultants to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports for management review.
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed meet the required standards and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and implement corrective actions for any deviations from the plan.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and work execution.
• Assist in planning, budgeting, and scheduling of construction activities.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the project manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• PRC Licensed RCE
• Extensive knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to manage a site team.
• Proficient in the use of construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organization, resourcefulness and critical thinking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage project timeline and deadlines.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, coupled with a commitment to ethical business practices.
